Our Mission
Paradis Urbain founded UP House Montreal in 2010, introducing the award-winning International Clubhouse Model of psychosocial rehabilitation to the city. Through strong governance, sustained fundraising, and flagship initiatives such as the Au Contraire Film Festival—a nationally recognized platform for mental health awareness through film—and the dynamic UPBEAT fashion event, Paradis Urbain provides steadfast support to UP House. These initiatives, along with ongoing programs rooted in the Clubhouse philosophy, work to improve well-being, foster community reintegration, and break down the social and economic barriers faced by people living with persistent mental health conditions. Together, we are building a more inclusive, creative, and stigma-free future.
